Elective Courses for 2013 - 2014 Academic Year

Introduction to Engineering:
Electronics – 12 hours
Mechanics – 12 hours

Eligibility: 10 years and above
Level: Easy

Electronics & Robotics I
Duration:  30 hours or when students complete the syllabus.
Course Contents:
Part I: Introduction to electronics
Part II: Understand the mechanics and functions of sensors by building robots using American kits
Eligibility: 12 years and above. No prior knowledge of Electronics is necessary
Level: Medium

Electronics & Robotics II
Duration:  30 hours or when students complete the syllabus.
Course Contents:
Part I: Design  Advanced circuits
Part II: Sensor Lab
Part III: Design robots with the help of circuit diagrams.
Eligibility: Must be at least 12 years old and must have completed Robotics I.
Level: Difficult

Junior Scientist:
Research Project - 30 hours+
Teams Conduct Research on a given topic and write a research paper.
Eligibility: 12 years and above
Level: Difficult

Electronics & Robotics III
Duration:  30 hours or when students complete the syllabus.
Course Contents:
Build and program robots to perform given tasks
Eligibility: Must be at least 12 years old and must have completed Robotics II.
Level: Difficult

We have limited number of robots and mechanical tools. We believe in quality and therefore import everything from US. Classes are conducted in schools during the academic year on a first-come first-serve basis. Sorry, we will not conduct en masse classes that will jeopardize quality! Number of students per class depends on students’ behavior and independence.
